  14. This proven handicapping program allows you to analyze
  15. Thoroughbred Races and pick likely winners quickly and easily,
  16. even if you've never handicapped before. This release includes
  17. the same updated formulas as Version 5, without the relational
  18. database and its associated hardware requirements. Handicapping
  19. factors include half-mile and final time, lengths behind, post
  20. position, weight carried, jockey record, speed rating, track
  21. variant, class and beaten favorite.

  25. People interested in handicapping and analyzing Thoroughbred
  26. horse races.

  28. If this is an update, improvements over old version:

  30. This version is cosmetically similar to earlier versions but
  31. contains major changes to handicapping formulas. Version 4.15 is
  32. now better at handicapping longer races and better at weeding out
  33. horses with early speed who fade at longer distances.

  36. 256K memory, one floppy disk drive, and a monochrome monitor.

  43. Type THORO and hit ENTER. Do NOT try to launch NTHO4SW.EXE
  44. directly. The THORO.BAT file must be used to load the proper
  45. screen drivers.

  51. Registered users receive an Enhanced version which will handicap
  52. an entire race at once instead of individual horses. The Enhanced
  53. version also includes full printed reports and the Wagermaster,
